MALTA TOURIST VISA

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR TOURIST VISA:
- A passport with a validity of at least three months
- Two passport size photos
- Visa fees
- A copy of your completed and signed application form
- Supporting documents that indicate your purpose of visit
- Proof of hotel bookings, flight bookings and a detailed plan of your activities during the duration of your stay in Malta
- Copy of tour ticket
- Proof of having enough finances to support your travel and stay in the country
- Proof of having travel medical insurance worth 30,000 pounds.
- Invitation letter containing the address and phone number of the family member or sponsor.
- An approved and signed letter from a local town hall or any other competent government.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The documentation required for the Malta Residency Visa Program includes:
- Passport & travel history

- Not be a Maltese, Swiss or EEA national
- Hold a qualifying property (rental of 10, 000 EUR per annum or purchased for a minimum price of 270, 000 EUR)
- Hold Malta Government stocks (minimum value of 250, 000 EUR*) for a minimum period of 5 years
- Have an annual income of not less than €100,000 arising outside of Malta OR has in there possession of Net Assets (Ex: Property, Share, Bonds, Insurance Policy and other fixed assets) of not less than €500,000.

Types of Work Visas Available to Foreign Workers in Malta
Foreign nationals who intend to travel to Malta to work need to have a National Long-Stay Visa, or D Visa.
The D visa allows foreign nationals to stay in Malta for more than three months. This is the visa foreign employees will need to live and work in Malta for an extended period of time.
In addition to a long-stay visa, foreign employees will need a work permit. In Malta, this permit is known as an employment license.

Work Permit Process:
Step 1: Complete documents will be presented to the employer in Malta for screening
Step 2: Interview will be done on Skype (If required)
Step 3: After selection, job offer will be issued by the employer
Step 4: Job offer acceptance by the applicant with additional documents shared with the employer
Step 5: To apply for Work Permit in Malta by the employer
Processing Time: 6 to 8 weeks
Step 6: Work Permit issued – Letter of approval is valid for 180 days
Visa Filling
